Simple Snowflake Heart

Hi Everyone! Another Instagram hop today! This one is called Is It Winter or Is It Fall? We had to choose from snowflakes or leaves. I decided to go with snowflakes!

For my card I used the Heart of Christmas stamp and die bundle graciously given to me from Unity Stamp Co. as a Guest Designer for this month. I started by stamping the snowflake heart onto pattern paper from the White Winter paper pad with Macchiato ink from Catherine Pooler. I die cut it out with a heart die from Pink & Main. To pop up the heart, I used craft foam.

Using leftover pieces of the flannel paper, I stamped the word "Peace" with the same Macchiato ink. I used the coordinating die to cut it out. I felt like the sentiment needed a shadow so I adhered it to vellum and fussy cut around it. To give more dimension, I used the die two more times to cut out in white cardstock and stacked it behind the vellum. This allows the vellum to be popped up instead of flat on the card.

For the thin frame, I used the same pattern paper and the largest Stitched Rectangle Trimmings die from Memory Box Co. I added a little bit of grunge with leftover ink on my brown blending brush to the gray panel. I filled out the panel by stamping stars from the Heart of Christmas set in Macchiato ink. Finally, I placed three matching pearl stickers.

I hope you enjoy my card! Check out the IG hop hosted by @stamprgrl to see everyone's creations!
