Fall Recipe Box
Hi Everyone! Today I'm showcasing something a little different for the Fall Friends Card hop hosted by Kelly (@createwithkas) on Instagram. The theme for this week is Fall Baked Goods. I went outside the box by creating a recipe box! What better way to hold your favorite recipes than a recipe box?
I went into Cricut Design Space and used the Recipe Box CDuke 2023. It was free (without Cricut Access subscription). The template was super easy to put together, and there were some instructions with the file.
I used Catherine Pooler Harvest Festival 12x12 pattern paper for this box. The green base and lid is 12x12 paper from DCWV. The only issue I ran into was I decided to use pattern paper for the liner, and the Harvest Festival is one sided. The left me with white on the inside so I altered the design a bit so the pattern paper would face out.
For embellishment, I added some paper flower embellishments I've had in my stash forever, originally from Michael's. I stacked the flowers together for more dimension. I also added an opalescent pearl sticker in the center of the flowers. It really came together quickly!
I hope you enjoyed today's creation! Let me know if you store your recipes in a box.
