Fall Friends Card Hop Week 9

Hi Everyone! Been busy but hopefully will have lots to share this month. Today I'm sharing the card I made for the Fall Friends Card hop hosted by Kelly (@creatwithcas) on Instagram. The theme is sweater weather!

For my card I decided to use products from Unity Stamp Co. It's a pretty simple layout, but so cute! I decided to use the green sweater pattern paper from the White Winter paper pack. I cut it to about 2"x5.5" and adhered it to the left side of an A2 white panel. For the image, I used Christmas Crew. It's fun because it looks like they are peeking out from the side! I colored the image with colored pencils as well as glitter pen for the red bits. I used white gel pen for the highlights. Then, I fussy cut the image and made sure to cut around the hands and hoof so I could place it over the edge of the pattern paper to make it look like they are peeking out from the paper.

To add a bit of contrast, I used thin black craft tape on the edge of the pattern paper. You could also use a thin strip of black cardstock. I adhered the Christmas crew characters over the black tape with the hands and hoof over the edge of the pattern paper.

The sentiment comes from the Warm Wishes for Your Home set. Finally I added some matching pearl stickers from Honey Bee Stamps.

I hope you enjoy today's card!
